Heritage Square Music Hall

Heritage Square Music Hall puts on some really funny plays, and they are amazing vocalists.  The ensemble cast appears in all of their plays, so it's easy to learn to recognize the actors.  They have a nice new web site, listing their current and future plays.  They also have a good children's theater with performances on Saturday afternoons.
 

Movies and Music in the Park

During August, the City of Golden and GREAT put on a series of free concerts and movie showings in Parfet Park in downtown Golden.  It's a wonderful community event, so plan now to bring lawns chairs and enjoy the party.  The summer's listings will appear on GREAT's web site in mid- to late-spring.
 

Colorado Environmental Film Festival:

In November, the Colorado Environmental Film Festival shows local and national feature length and short films for all ages that explore interconnected ecological, social, and economic themes. Wild Films at the Mountaineering Center

The Colorado Mountain Club hosts a film series during the winter, most of which have a nature or ecology theme.  The venue is the beautiful and comfortable Foss Auditorium!
