The Table Mountain Inn was the catalyst that
contributed to Downtown's revitalization,
starting in the early 1990s. Its
predecessor, the Holland House, had operated in
that building for decades. but it had stood
vacant for several years before the Golden Civic
Foundation bought it, and began searching for a
developer. The result was amazing--the
developer turned a 1950's-style hotel into the
elegant southwestern style place we see today.
The Inn has been successful enough that it has
added both rooms and conference space.
